Anthony F. Vittone
Anthony is the
Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer of DroneUp. Mr. Vittone joined DroneUp in 2018. DroneUp is a leader in the emerging
market of unmanned aerial vehicle (drones) services. DroneUp combines its large pilot
network and innovative pilot management platform to deploy the right pilot with the right
assets to get a mission completed for governmental contracts and private industry. At
DroneUp, Mr. Vittone manages the companies operations including finance, marketing,
legal, human resources, and investor relations.
Jody Wagner
A small business owner, lawyer and community leader, Jody has been instrumental in helping Virginia and Virginia Beach succeed. Currently, she is the President of Jody’s Popcorn — a small business that employs over 35 people locally, that she started in her garage 15 years ago.
She served as State Treasurer under Former Governor Mark Warner and as Secretary of Finance in the Cabinet of Former Governor Tim Kaine. As State Treasurer, Jody oversaw payments, issued bonds, nurtured the Commonwealth’s investments and maintained Virginia’s AAA credit rating. As Secretary of Finance, she was responsible for the State budget and worked with state agencies to champion economic development, education, affordable housing, transportation, workforce training and healthcare. During her service, she spearheaded bond issues to build several hundred higher-education buildings, many of which are in Hampton Roads, and Virginia was named the best state for business, the best managed state and the best state to be born in.
Steven Jones
An entrepreneurial leader, Steven has co-founded or directed 4 statewide and
national organizations,
helping secure over $4.5
billion in business development, public-private partnerships, and capital
construction
funds. A nationally awarded
public relations and marketing executive, Mr. Jones has more
than 10,000 press credits to his name across local, state, national, and in ternational publications
working to develop
marketing, crisis communications, and
public relations campaigns for
clients
ranging
from Governors
and US Senators to Fortune 100
companies and high growth
start-up
organizations. He
has also worked extensively
internationally, helping structure
development, marketing, and regulatory
deals across 5 continents.
Doug Beaver
A native of Honolulu, Hawaii,
Doug
graduated from Virginia Tech
with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science
and was
commissioned
in the U.S. Navy
through
the
Naval Reserve Officer
Training Corps program.
He
earned an Executive Master of
Business Administration degree from the Naval Postgraduate
School and is
a 2016 alumnus
of
the CIVIC Leadership Institute.
Doug is
a
member of
the
Virginia Tech
Corps of Cadets
Alumni
Board of Directors
and Navy League of
Hampton Roads Board of
Directors.
