Get to know Troopster's staff

Chelsea Mandello

Chelsea was serving aboard her seventh ship during an 11-month deployment in the U.S. Navy as a photojournalist when the idea for Troopster was sparked. Upon returning home from deployment, she began working to make her dream a reality. In November 2015, Troopster was born. If you'd like to read more about Chelsea's story click here.

Travis DiPerna

Travis is a veteran of the United States Navy as a mass communications specialist. From photographing while hanging out of helicopters to documenting anti-piracy operations with the U.S. Navy, Travis has been a professional photographer for seven years. While serving in the Navy, he has received five Navy Achievement Medals and advanced to the rank of E6. 

Elisabeth Rusch

Elisabeth earned her Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Elisabeth loves all things travel! She's been to 12 countries…so far. Some of her adventures have included spending a semester in Ghana, stargazing in the Swiss Alps, visiting archaeological sites in Peru, and attending a reggae music festival in Jamaica.

Michele Coles

Michele is working towards her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the Old Dominion University. Michele has been working at Troopster since early 2019 and handles packing all of the care packs, customer service and inventory management. She loves helping others by listening and learning who they are and what they need.
